개인정보처리방침

익스텐션은 사용자가 툴바의 ggeolmu 아이콘을 누르거나 유튜브 링크에서 “ggeolmu에서 보기”를 선택했을 때에만 동작합니다.

• 현재 탭의 유튜브 주소에서 영상 ID를 읽습니다.
• 현재 탭에서 재생 중인 영상의 재생 위치(초)를 읽고, 소리가 겹치지 않도록 그 영상을 일시정지합니다.
• 읽은 영상 ID와 재생 위치를 담아 https://ggeolmu.vercel.app/?v=영상ID&t=초 주소를 새 탭으로 엽니다.

익스텐션은 이 정보를 따로 저장하거나 ggeolmu 이외의 곳으로 보내지 않습니다. 방문 기록, 다른 탭, 다른 웹사이트의 내용은 읽지 않으며, 광고·분석 도구나 외부에서 받아 오는 코드를 사용하지 않습니다.

사용 권한과 그 이유는 다음과 같습니다.

• activeTab, scripting: 사용자가 아이콘을 누른 탭에서만 재생 위치를 읽고 일시정지하기 위해 사용합니다.
• contextMenus: 유튜브 링크의 우클릭 메뉴에 “ggeolmu에서 보기”를 추가하기 위해 사용합니다.

• 내 영상·시청 이력: 사용자가 추가한 영상 ID 목록과 최근 본 영상 목록은 사용자 브라우저의 localStorage에만 저장되며 서버로 전송되지 않습니다. 브라우저의 사이트 데이터를 지우면 함께 삭제됩니다.
• 쿠키로 사용자를 식별하거나 추적하지 않습니다.
• 추천 영상 순서 등 서비스 운영용 기록은 영상에 관한 정보만 담고 있으며, 누가 요청했는지는 저장하지 않습니다.

서비스는 기능을 제공하기 위해 다음 외부 서비스를 이용합니다.

• YouTube (Google): 영상 재생에 YouTube 임베드 플레이어와 썸네일을 사용합니다. 이때 YouTube가 자체 방침에 따라 정보를 수집할 수 있습니다(Google 개인정보처리방침). 자막과 영상 정보는 서버가 영상 ID로 YouTube에서 가져옵니다.
• MyMemory 번역 API: 한국어 자막이 없는 영상은 서버가 자막 문장만 보내 기계 번역합니다. 사용자에 관한 정보는 보내지 않습니다.
• Vercel: 웹사이트 호스팅 업체로, 서비스 운영과 보안을 위해 IP 주소·브라우저 종류 같은 일반적인 접속 기록을 처리할 수 있습니다(Vercel 개인정보처리방침).

ggeolmu는 어떤 정보도 판매하지 않으며, 광고·신용 평가 등 서비스 기능과 관계없는 목적으로 사용하거나 제3자에게 넘기지 않습니다.

방침이 바뀌면 이 페이지에 시행일과 함께 게시합니다. 문의는 GitHub Issues로 남겨 주세요.

The extension runs only when you click the ggeolmu toolbar icon or choose “ggeolmu에서 보기” on a YouTube link. It then:

• reads the YouTube video ID from the current tab's URL;
• reads the playback position of the video in the current tab and pauses it so audio does not overlap;
• opens https://ggeolmu.vercel.app/?v=VIDEO_ID&t=SECONDS in a new tab.

The extension does not store this information or send it anywhere other than ggeolmu. It does not read your browsing history, other tabs, or other websites, and it uses no analytics, advertising, or remotely hosted code. Permissions: activeTab and scripting (read the playback position and pause the video in the tab you clicked), contextMenus (add the right-click menu on YouTube links).

Your “My videos” list and watch history are stored only in your browser's localStorage and are never sent to our server. Clearing site data removes them. We do not use cookies to identify or track you. Operational records (such as featured-video rotation) contain information about videos only, not about who requested them.

• YouTube (Google): embedded player and thumbnails, subject to Google's Privacy Policy. Captions and video details are fetched by our server using the video ID.
• MyMemory Translation API: caption text only is sent for machine translation when Korean captions are unavailable.
• Vercel: website hosting, which may process standard request logs such as IP address and browser type.

We do not sell any data, and we do not use or transfer data for purposes unrelated to the service's single purpose, such as advertising or creditworthiness.
